- Q: Will you break my tiles during a manual scrape? A: No. We use specialized roof ladders to distribute weight evenly. Manual scraping is much kinder to old or brittle tiles than any form of pressure washing.
- Q: Is the Roof Care Plan worth it? A: Definitely. A full roof clean is a significant investment. Joining the Roof Care Plan for as little as £180 a year prevents the need for that major expense ever again. We keep the treatment levels high so your Bridgwater home stays moss-free indefinitely.
- Q: How long until the roof looks "new"? A: Moss is gone on day one. Remaining bits turn orange in 1–4 weeks. Black algae clears around 6 months, and stubborn lichen can take up to 18 months to weather away as the biofilm is destroyed.
- Q: Will the falling moss be a mess? A: We use tarps to catch the moss. If any moss that was left behind breaks away later and blocks your gutters, I will return to clear them free of charge.
- Q: Is the biocide safe for my pets? A: Yes, once dry. We are pet-friendly and always happy to pause for a "wee break" if your dog needs to go outside.
